The Boxes

QuickProjects
We are currently accepting applications for both knitting and crochet pattern designers for QuickProjects.
QuickProjects offers monthly, beginner project bundles. Boxes include 1-2 skeins of yarn to craft small to medium projects of home accessories, decorative pieces, and more. We’re looking for patterns designed for newer crocheters that focus on providing a variation of items and stress-relieving projects that can be completed in a weekend. Be sure to check out the QuickProjects Pattern Guidelines below before applying!
QuickProjects is a monthly subscription box, patterns are accepted on an ongoing basis. Only 12 designs are selected each year.
Pattern Requirements:
~Must be beginners to easy patterns with possible variations. Think stress-relieving and very accessible.
~Stitches are mainly, if not all, foundational stitches (ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc, tr) with minimal or easy shaping work.
~Easy construction is acceptable.
~Roughly 1-2 skeins of yarn or ~$15 retail value of yarn is the maximum used in pattern.
Submission are accepted for every month listed below, unless otherwise noted. When submitting patterns for QuickProjects, consider the submission guidelines for each month as outlined below:
January– Not currently accepting pattern submission for Jan 2021
February– Not currently accepting pattern submissions for Feb 2021
March
April
May– These projects are very popular Mother’s Day gifts
June– Only designs utilizing natural yarns are accepted
July– Only designs utilizing natural yarns are accepted
August
September– Halloween decorations are acceptable but MUST include variations to the main pattern. Fall decorations are also acceptable.
October
November– Holiday/festive designs acceptable
December– These projects are very popular holiday gifts; pattern submission for gender neutral wearable strongly encouraged (hat, mittens, slippers, etc).

BlanketBox
We are currently accepting applications for crochet pattern designers ONLY for BlanketBox.
BlanketBox offers quarterly, intermediate+ project bundles. Boxes include 2000-3000m of yarn, based on the blanket size subscribers select. We’re looking for unique intermediate blanket patterns that allow crocheters to increase or decrease the difficulty of the project based on their needs. Be sure to check out the BlanketBox Pattern Guidelines below before applying!

Submissions for BlanketBox patterns are accepted on an ongoing basis. However, only 4 designs are selected each year.
Pattern Requirements:
~Must be intermediate with some (can be minor) variations to adjust for skill levels (easier/harder stitches, etc).
~2 size options must be included (throw and large throw which are generally 2000m and 3000m of yarn used)
~ All types of blankets work are accepted- row by row, inside-out, motifs (all sizes), and combinations.
~Special stitches (any stitches that are not the “foundational stitches”) and techniques (tunisian, c2c, etc) are accepted as well bearing in mind the skill level requirement.
While pattern submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis, fulfillment months will impact submission deadlines. BlanketBox is shipped in the following months:

We are currently accepting applications for both knitting and crochet pattern designers for CrochetMastery.
CrochetMastery offers bi-monthly, intermediate to intermediate-advanced project bundles. Boxes include 3-5 skeins of yarn to craft medium to larger projects of home accessories, wearables, and more. We’re looking for patterns that focus on SPECIAL stitches and TECHNIQUES that allow experienced crocheters to challenge themselves and learn new techniques & stitches. Be sure to check out the CrochetMastery Pattern Guidelines below before applying!
Submissions for CrochetMastery patterns are accepted on an ongoing basis. However, only 6 designs are selected each year.
Pattern Requirements:
~Must be intermediate to advanced patterns with possible variations.
~Special stitches (any stitches that are not the “foundational stitches”) and techniques (tunisian, broomstick lace, hairpin lace, etc) are expected to be included unless construction is what makes the design advanced.
~Roughly 3-6 skeins of yarn or ~$30-35 retail value worth of yarn is the maximum used in pattern.
~Submissions can be in the form of one single pattern or several patterns that work together or fall under a single theme.
Submission are accepted for every month listed below, unless otherwise noted. When submitting patterns for CrochetMastery, consider the months we fulfill this subscription and guidelines for the projects in those months as outlined below:
