How long does it really take?
Depends on the pile. The triage itself is quick — three questions per WIP. Gathering fourteen projects out of five bags is the slow part, and you’re allowed to do that from memory instead. Hibernating half of them with wake dates is a completely successful result.
Will this make me finish more projects?
It will get every project an honest decision, and you’ll work on one thing at a time. Whether that thing gets finished is still up to you and the yarn — no output promises here.
What if I can’t bear to frog anything?
Then you’ll hibernate them with wake dates, and that’s a legitimate result. Frogging is never required — it’s one of three verdicts, not the goal.
